After a few decades, the magical kingdom that we all know now soon began to take form. What started as simple cartoon outline eventually turned in worldwide icons for kids to grow up with and love. Walt Disney himself first started in the motion picture business, but it wasnt long until he expanded into the television market, and theme set industry. Today we consider the Walt Disney Company to have a level scope. Among the first movies that Disney ever made were Snow White and the seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Bambi and Fantasia. All of these films cost a lot to make, however they themselves grossed a fortune at the box office. These films set the standard for Disney movies for years to come. In the 1950s movies like Cinderella, 101 Dalmatians, Peter Pan, bird and the Tramp, and The Jungle Book were all smash hits. Disney studios then took most of their products to the television and tap into that vastly growing market. Walt realized the prospective synergies between television and the movie business.
