The emblem of the Cave
The summary of, The Allegory of the Cave, begins with four pris adeptrs sitting in a dark undermine with a fire that cast shadows for the prisoners to observe. A prisoner is situated free and is set to go outside the cave to put on the state of what true human beings is. After the prisoner becomes educated from true reality he then he ascends flock to the cave to free the prisoners from there clichéd ways of persuasion of what reality truly means to them. However, when the enlightened man goes level to the cave to reveal what he has seen, the prisoners in the cave male parentt want to know that there is another reality outside of what they actually see in person. So the prisoners who were stuck in the cave shun the prisoner who became enlightened. My personal experience with me connecter the army and deploying relates to the Platos story on how one prisoner descended from the cave to see what true reality was and how I was once a prisoner in the cave before seeing for myself what really was happening in Iraq.
My opinion closely this story is how roughly hoi polloi want to focus on what other people tell them or show them rather than have their get opinion.
This story reminds me of when the Iraqi war started because all I knew about the war was what I had watched in the news. I had no introductory knowledge to why we were over there and what would be the intercommunicate outcome of the war because the news brain washed me into what they cute me to hear. I actually hobo relate to this because I was one of the few who enlisted and went to Iraq and saw what really happened. Im knowing I actually enlisted and went to war because now when I blather to people about Iraq or the war from my first-hand experience. I can actually educate them on what really happened rather than them forming their profess views from just the media.
