Affecting Change Paper LDR/531 April 18, 2011 Smith and Falmouth (S& group A;F), a mid-sized tele shop and mail order network, operates in the United States and Canada. Six months ago, S&F developed an e-tail division called S&F Online, which is essential to the organizations strategic ontogeny. This paper will wrangle S&Fs current organisational structure, corporate culture, recommend the necessary leadership style to utensil this change, recommend a restructuring strategy to improve the culture and appoint the benefits these changes will bring to the organization. Current Structure and Culture The success of S&F Online is critical, as it will help to endure S&F forward toward their projected growth goals. The market in which S&F operates, is the major influence for this simple structured division, the Chief Executive officer (CEO) was forced to move fast to put in induct a team up for this newly developed division that consists of a logistic team, a web development team, and a market manager. The logistic manager and his team provide status reports to the market manager to coordinate the product lines, budgets, and promotions with the parent company S&F. The project manager oversees the web development team and works closely with the logistics manager.

His web team maintains the online sales street that consists of the website and the online payment processing. The project manager has built up a great relationship with people, both inside and outside of the division.
