Business Case We graduated from university lately and with three other recent graduates have joined a well established maestro web design company called Web Design Consultancy (WDC) as junior consultants. WDC specialises in supporting business with their IT systems. We have been asked by Ashford University to give them advice on how their savants could be more independent. Ashford University contacted us so that the director of the university could have a meeting with us to the highest degree creating an intranet for their students. Ashford University has noticed a significant increase in enquiries near having an intranet system for their students in the last year. The main problems that Ashford University is having are students complain that they need to access important information about their modules, their tantalise slides and past exam papers off of university premises. Again at that place has been an increasing in students handing in their coursework late because students were abroad and they did not know when their deadlines were. Students wanted to have a digital simulate of the lecture slides for their own references or in case they do not turn up to the lecture also the student can prepare before the lectures so that they can worry notes and further reading.

Teachers have been requesting an intranet system for their students as well as they are having problems, because students are not there when the grades are macrocosm handed out or they come to the teachers office asking for grades, so it would make teachers more effective as they can put in the grades up on the students personal section. AUB will create more awareness for students as they will know when and where their exams are located. Here at WDC we are outlet to tackle these issues by creating an intranet system which we are going to call AUB (Ashford University Blackboard).
