Fadhilla Izzaty SYAUKAT, Luqman Arif LUBADA, Reihan AKIRA, Rizky Auliarisya ALIFA As the environmental issues worsen each day, environment cozy product, environment education and new environment friendly innovations ar also increasing. However, in In endureesia this isnt the case. Most of Ind isians still dont really care about the environmental issues. The want of environment education, especially for children, might also be one of the reasons. It was not until around 2 years ago, in 2009, when the temper change issues began to get the attention of the Indonesian people. With this in mind, Annisa Hasanah, a student of landscape architecture at the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), created a game, called Ecomonopoly. The Eco meaning of EcoMonoply is not only about the content just now also the material of EcoMonopoly. Annisa Hasanah tried to use as ofttimes recycled materials as she could. For example the dice is made from excess woodwind from industrial waste, and the fake money and tokens is made out of recycled paper. Ecomonopoly is a modification of the common monopoly game.

The purpose of this game is to give knowledge about environmental issues and to increase the awareness among the players (even children) to live a green lifestyle. So, the main goal of this game is not to recognise as much money possible like in the common monopoly game. Not only does it educate the players about the environment but this game also educates about Indonesias biodiversity and its national parks. This game will let the players to evaluate themselves on their green behavior or activities in their daily lives. The rule of this game is learning green through a gaming way, and that is playing a board game. If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website:
