Ancient Greece has played a huge role on our confederation today. From its philosophy, ruse, science, math, architecture, literature and politics, the Ancient Grecians have had a major tint on our lives.
The Greek culture influenced the nation we have today. In Pericles age, ideal form of government was to be one make by all citizens no matter where they stood in the kind pyramid. This was known as democracy, literally meaning
government of the raft. They used a form of voting back thus in their government like we do today. They would use rocks and by throwing them into a large pot, they would vote. The rock would be white if they concur with what was being voted on, or the rock would be black if they disagreed. like a shot in our culture, we vote very similar to what the Greeks did long ago. directly days instead of rocks, we use paper to record our vote. accordingly all the votes are added up and this helps determine the outcome. Back then, in order to keep peace, the people wrote on rocks who they would like to hold back banished from the city. They would also throw these rocks into a pot and the person that came up the some would have to leave the city. Now days, our law is a great deal stricter and these people would be put in jail, or they would forgather other punishments.
Overall the Greek society greatly influenced the democracy we have today. Many of the ideas havent changed much over the years.
Many aspects of art in Ancient Greece impacted its future, but one of the most important was their architecture. Maybe the reason for this was because it was a whole novel form of architecture that had little to do with how it functioned and everything to do with looks.
