Hundred years state of war
When the topic of the Middle Ages and mediaeval Times are spoken of, more often than not, images of soldiers and fightriors victorious battle may flood the mind. Looking at the medieval Times from an everywhereview perspective, many may say that it were a clip where the greater Europe truly became defined and found its true identity. Many battles were fought; many victorious, while some failed to scope the opportunities to grow. The battles fought during this period of time may have only lasted for months or point years; but the effect it left posterior is valued much greater than that. The battle that might be known to some as the most pivotal war in the Middle Ages is the Hundred Years War. The Hundred Years War was a sequence of battles between England and France lasting from 1337-1453 (Military-History, par. 1). just about refer the multiple battles within the Hundred Years War to a string of wars with the same goal instead of a long, stretched-out war, which lasted over a hundred years.
England and France did not keep t inheritor armies on the battlefield continually; instead, breaks between mirrored time-outs or even halftime in todays big sporting events.
The ii countries shared similar interest and a very equivalent culture they even shared an identical language, since cut was use in the English Courts due to William of Orange conquering England in 1166 (Hartman, par.1). England had once claimed numerous areas in France such as Normandy and Anjou; however, the French were successful in retrieving most of their land except for star strip called Gascony (History of War, par.1). The Hundred Years War essentially began in 1337 in an argument between the French and the English rulers over the area of Gascony. The French, obviously wanted all of France and were determined to fulfill this.
