1. What is the aim of acculturation in society? How does heredity influence us?
-The role of socialization in society is who we are? Is it the genes we are natural with, or the environment in which we grow up? fundamentally is the agency race learn the attitudes, values and behaviors for members of a event culture. Heredity influences us by our genes. I say this because for example, the way and Hispanic acts and talks s different than a neat person, because of their DNA.
2. How is Self-Socialization Explained?
-Self and socialization can be explained by its personal identity that sets up apart from others. It is also explained by Cooley.
3. How are sociological approaches to the self-explained? See Cooley, Mead, Goffman
-Looking glass self: it emphasizes that the self is the production of our social interactions. (Cooley)
Stages of the self: it develops a useful model of the sour by which the self emerges. Defined by the distinct stages: The propaedeutic Stage, The Play Stage and The Game Stage. The Preparatory Stage, children imitate the people around them. The Play Stage was the first to analyze the relationships of symbolic re founderation to socialization.



The Game Stage the children know can respond to legion(predicate) members of the social environment. Theory of the Self is best known as the theory of the self. (Mead)

4. How do you explain the psychological approaches to the self-explained? (Page 86)
